I would let him go regardless ,Clarke fetched a fullback on up front when we needed a goal tell you what he thinks of him.

Fail to see the relevance of incomings. Given he wasnt brought on Saturday i struggle to foresee a set of circumstances where Clarke is going to truat him with game time.

just wages I guess. I guess we must be looking to mutually agree a termination of his deal if he can sort out a club.

I think there are 2 ways to do it for us:
    1) the local owner/benefactor way - how we used to be, i.e the club covers its cost to a point and "someone" puts in extra money for signings that otherwise would be out of reach - Jon Macken/Andy Grey et al. Its how Preston stay in the Championship.
    2) profit from the sale of players/ develop your own - relies on a steady stream of good picks got on the cheap or from our own academy who are polished into salable assets and drive a hard bargain to maximise profits, to then re-invest into more good picks.
Or as we have done it, sold the good players cheap, re-invested into even cheaper players, who are sold cheap/aren't any good, eventually pick up players who were let go from big club academies, and develop very little from our own academy. So eventually chasing ourselves down the quality snake with no ladders to get us back up.
We have the income of a league one side, and without scenario 1 or 2 that's where we've ended up.

I'm generally Mr Patient when it comes to all this malarkey, but I'm almost at the stage when I'll be taking my boots at the weekend.

I once scored in a Totty Cup Semi Final. I think that qualifies me.

I am watching sky sports news and it’s great seeing most league 1 clubs signing strikers and strengthening. But I am sure Clarke said judge us when the window closes so still 4 hours, all we can do is hope. It’s sad we have 4 hours to save the season.

Leicester just turned down an approach from Sunderland to take him on loan, so unlikely he's coming to us

Tbf I plucked that out of thin air and googled the Leicester squad as Mladen used to work there. Didn't expect it at all.

So one account on twitter reckons something to be announced at 7pm and someone else claiming Woodrow is at Oakwell now. Probably nothing in it but time will tell I guess.

‘Judge us at the end of the window’, that’s all we’ve had rammed down our throats all month…. 4 hours left to go before they get judged, it’s not looking good either….

Some Blackburn fans on Twitter seem to think Woodrow is going there...and not happy about it.

Decent sources in the local press that way on reporting that Woodrow is off to Blackburn.
