Does it matter they'll be back in the Prem in no time, core support of 40-50k they'll piss it through the lower Scottish League and back up to the top in a few years.

Thank you. I just hope that this golden opportunity to send out a clear message to clubs is not lost due to finances being placed above integrity.

Exactly. I hope that the English FA take not of this and do what is right with clubs. Just look how differently they've treated Darlington and Portsmouth. It's daft.

Hopefully integrity will win over finances in the future.

I don't think you can really compare those two. As far as I know, Glasgow Rangers will still be called Glasgow Rangers, they'll still be playing in Glasgow at their old stadium, wear their blue&white kit and have the same logo, etc etc... I don't know how their fans really feel about this, but they'll still be the same old Glasgow Rangers for me.

That is a really key point. Whether clubs will take heed of course is another matter entirely......

Core support? I very much doubt they'll get anywhere near 40,000 if they drop to the Third Division. Get back to reality.

No I have not forgotten. Yes I would have been gutted but if they were the rules at the time and we knew them then we would have had only ourselves to blame.

Clubs are going into administration due to trying to keep up with each other and there is always someone spending more than you.

It's a vicious circle and will continue to happen infinitum under the current rules. The sad thing is it doesn't need to if simple rules and suitable punishments were in place the level of spending may be forced down across the leagues.

How many clubs were going into administration 15-20 years ago compared to today? The question always aimed at the board was 'do they really want to go up?' well sometimes I actually sit and think do I really want us to go up because a consequent relegation from the premier league is possibly the worst thing that could happen to a club like ours, admin ensued last time due to the increased expenditure required and we are not the only ones that it has happened to. It simply shouldn't be that way.

If it happens I'll never set foot in a super league ground again

The vote needs to be at least 8-4 in Rangers favour, not going to happen with 6 already saying they will vote against. I don't get that Rangers get a vote!

    erm...see the name
I'm not happy about the comments of Reds fans on this post. I was certainly hoping that someone would defend the Huns: just so I could rip into them about what an odious club they really are.

After all what is the point of these Boards if everyone is reasonable. If it carries on like this I fear I'm going to have to post something along the lines of what a good job is being done at the 'well.

Always had a soft spot for rangers. As you can see I have little sympathy for them
