well..

as for the first point, I didn't make it up...

someone else may well have, I'm not disputing that, but that's not my problem... that's what I've heard/read so wind your neck in spadge eh?

we're all entitled to our own opinions and I for one don't think things are all that rosy down at the well... and I didn't make that up, that's my own personal point of view - just in case you accuse me of starting any chinese whispers again...

RE: what makes you think that?

    No.

I just think he seems fairly loyal and probably wants to see the job through and see how far he can take this team.

It is young and still improving. If we can keep the core together we will have a decent team for a while yet.

    RE: well..

but thats the problem isnt it, when you dont listen to the interview yourself, your just relying on the notions of others, with whatever bias they want to stick on it. so, simply by repeating it, youre part of the chinese whispers.

    I heard the interview

And I got the distinct impression that the contract would not be sorted out for a while yet.

ok, when he said, contractually, i ahve to talk tot he three players forst, and after that, in autumn, that when andy and me are scheduled to sit down about his contract. a good while?

    - what like, erm, autumn, bugger, when did those leaves turn brown and red and start falling off the trees, i thought it was june. erm, the impression was autumn, the word autumn sort of gave it away for me.

    no

but I do listen others and then interpret accordingly according to my own feelings..

I can't help it, having had personal dealings with the Chairman and not being very happy about it all, so I do have a predisposed notion about him... it's a personal thing and everyone is entitled to have one, as I said... i shouldn't have to justify it I mean, this is a discussion board isn't it!?!? I was under the impression we were allowed to discuss things here.. libel and slander permitting...

    cheers anyway...

    In autumn?

Wasnt the interview last week (or maybe two weeks ago) and hasnt it been autumn since last month?

So that would mean then that he was scheduled to sit down and discuss all four contracts together wouldnt it?

    RE: In autumn?

no, he was asked why contract negotiations hadnt started with AR yet, and he said, the first thing he had to do was negotiate with the 3 players, as per their contracts, after that, it was SCHEDULED, i.e. planned, i.e. diarised, for AR and shep to start negotiating in autumn, but after the other 3 players had been sorted.

That's what was said but also..

it was added that he could see no reason to panic as he has a contract to the end of the season. So whispered Mrs Fo Ling anyway
