and looking at their forum, they are currently unanimous in their opinions.
They want him, think it's a good deal, just what they need etc.

One of the 3 most horrible grounds I've been to. Hope it is them.

On the OAFC forum. 'Barnsley, us, Vale, who will be holding the parcel when the music stops tomorrow'. That pretty much sums it up for me, other than the parcel been a bomb.

Coz when (if) the music does stop tomoro one set of fans relationship will be changed for good. Some lifelong bonds of love, commitment, expense, loyalty and dedication will be shattered. Through no fault of the fans own. Any club (whilst he's still on licence and is convicted as guilty) should know they have a responsibility to the fans that are there week in week out.

I just feel sorry for whichever clubs fans are holding the bomb tomoro. I do hope it goes off spectacular style and the damage it causes is irreparable.

Port Vale, Oldham and Notts County are all League 1 clubs who employed Lee Hughes after he was released after being sentenced to 6 years.

Could be one of those clubs based on previous example.

Vale Chairman has now come out and said it's not them. Think someone at our club needs to do the same.

I'm hoping it's not us. Really hoping it's not. And yet I have an awful feeling it will be.

I don't go as much as I used to but I won't set foot in Oakwell while we employ him and I won't spend a penny on club merchandise either.

I'd be writing to Mansford and Cryne to explain why too. Probably wouldn't make a jot of difference to their decision though.

Coventry also mentioned this morning. Although their Chairman just denied it. So Vale & Cov are out. Just us and Oldham from this mornings 'accused' list........ I've heard from the horses mouth that we'd never sign him so ..... it's Oldham for me. Not a bad commute for Mr Bundy from Penistone.

I'd not set foot in any stadium in which we played until the unrepentant convicted rapist had left the club.

I love Barnsley FC, but some things are just too important to overlook.

I doubt I'd ever set foot in Oakwell again. I've a young daughter, and no way would I ever fund the prosperity of a convicted rapist in a privileged lifestyle.

It would be a goodbye from me.

Would also deter grandkids and would find alternate hobby/passion on Saturdays etc and once left would never return choose who took over after.wouldn't even be interested in following progress or lack of.
Lost interest in prof football years ago its only BFC keeping me holding on and if they even contemplate signing that sack of filth I'm off.
