No I wouldn't stop going. It would be a stupid move signing him in that they'd bring the permanently morally outraged media to the club, but we could sign the reanimated corpse of Colonel Gaddafi and I'd still go. Whilst the faux-outrage from the daily mail and mumsnet brigades would be strong, it would take a lot more than that to shame me into handing my newly-bought half-season ticket back.
absolutely not Don't agree with it but wouldn't stop going Wonder how many would start going again if he scored 20+ goals Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes I'd stop going, after 33 years. I'd be ashamed of my club, but I think the question is irrelevant as I honestly believe we would never even entertain it.
id celebrate because we scored but when they say goal for barnsley scored by ched evans i wouldnt clap as i do usually
Fair enough fella Wasn't trying to be funny just wondered what your reaction would be Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was replying to a earlier post where the person said he doesnt have a divine right to play football again becausr he is a convicted rapist. The point I was making is other people have continued there careers in football.
I can't see how anyone can sign him. I wouldn't pay to watch him for us or playing against us . I hope that those that do watch him give him the constant grief he deserves and drives him out of football for good
I would possibility applaud the goal but I wouldn't cheer like I do any other Barnsley goal. All theoretical though because I probably wouldn't go.
I agree 100% but sadly not everyone does. You only had to listen to the blunt morons on radio shitfield when he was training with them to know that.
Fair point didn't see that post tbf. Few different points with the others though and I'm not defending them as if I had my way none of them would be playing. 1.he is unrepentant.the attempt at a plea for redemption with his girlfriend was pathetic IMO but showed him to be the person that is definitely not repentant. 2 a comeback into football should be the last thing on his mind if he is trying to clear his guilt as far as everyone is concerned a court of law has found him guilty and that is what he is until a court of law says otherwise. 3 non of the others have denied their crime and served their time and been seen to be repentant. As I stated I dont agree with them returning to football but the criteria was met.also they didn't set out to commit their crimes they were more or less the result of their stupidity. Evans however had planned well in advance. Another thing that gripes me is the fact that some fans would welcome him back knowing it would split the fan base. Even if I didn't give a fek about his crime I wouldn't want him back for that reason. Some of the Blades fans attitudes and reactions were pathetic IMO.
A question I would like to ask is.................... if it was your Daughter he had raped and you said you would go and watch him in a Barnsley shirt could you ever look her in the face again?
