    I think that's probably optimistic.

That said, our form in the second half of the season was pretty bad, and we only finished two wins from safety.

It wouldn't have taken that much of an upturn to keep us up: if we'd bothered to turn up against the Champions of Europe, we'd have needed one win from Derby (away), Middlesbrough (away) and an on-the-beach QPR at home to survive.

He was my first choice when Flicker was sacked. Danny was second. I

He was my choice to be honest. At least until the end of season as we were nailed on relegation certainties, then the new manager should have been appointed after the seasons end, whether that be Wilson or whoever. Wilson has carried on last season's ***** into this season, when really the new guy should have come with a clean slate for this season.

Not a chance he'd come or not a chance youd have him back?

Deffo don't want Paul Jewell. Glad I'm not an owner/chairman cos I'd have finger on trigger quite often. Would like a Tony Pulis/ Sam Allardyce/George Graham type manager. Ok it's not allus pretty to watch but his teams don't concede goals which means they don't lose as many so West Ham, Stoke or WBA don't do too bad

You think he'd come back after how he was treated? Pull the other one!

I'd be very disappointed if we change the manager now. We're early in to a long term plan, the kind of long term plan that many of us have been crying out for. It's not going to be plain sailing in the short term, but in the long term, for a club like ours, it's the only way to go. I'll be happy just staying up this season and I'll be expecting to see the benefits fom next season.

Right now I think we all would. This team is every bit as bad as the one glyn hodges had when we were in admin.

I just hope we have an Isaiah rankin moment this time round too as I think we will go close.
