and i agree about his work rate etc etc</p>

But he can carry the ball half the length of the pitchand that's when he becomes frustrating. I'm struggling to remember the last time he put in a quality cross... er probably Chelsea and his shooting is poor.</p>

 

His shooting is shocking!!! Wow he scored two belters against Plymouth and a decent one against Watford but 2 games isn't good enough!!

Like you I think he is a good player at our level. If he could cross, finish, head, tackle, dribble, shoot etc like some on here demand he would be playing elsewhere. And not at Blackpool.

 

He was a cracking player when I used to go and watch Cheltenham Town and I still think he is a decent player now!

I agree about the point of having a forum like this. You put your point across in a sound way (well apart from the "cloud cuckoo land" bit)

Your point about us "Devaney lovers" going on about his work rate is valid. However, I believe that many of his crosses would have had different results if we had had better strikers. You probably won't agree and neither of us can prove it but that is my view. In my dreams I would love to have Rooney etc up front with Devaney putting the crosses in.........
