Could perhaps look at trying a 343 system similar to chelsea with yids/mccarthy/friers taking up the Alonso/Moses position and hamill/isgrove/mallan as our pedro/hazard/willian types. Or we're all talking ******** and he's just gonna stick with 442!

For me we wait till all all new signings and potential loans and transfers/ moves out of the Club are
concluded before we can even attempt to guess what the line up we might start with could possibly be.?

I'd like to see us go either 5-3-2 of even jump on the bandwagon and go 3-4-2. 532 in particular will take some of the defensive pressure of Fryers(with the reports of it being the weakest aspects of his game). Would also create a role for one of the new lads to play behind the forwards...

    How does 3-4-2 work, exactly?

I'm pretty confident we won't go 3/5 at the back.
I'd guess 4-5-1, with Moncur, Mowatt, Mcgeehan or Mallan behind a new striker.

I agree but as the squad stands at the moment there is widespread speculation about doom and gloom
which to my mind is not much fun. The quotes I've seen from our new intake have been positive.
There is a reason they have chosen to join us. They have seen Stones, Holgate and Mawson get their big money
moves and must be thinking I'll have some of that.!

Don't forget this is a two way street. All those keeping their own counsel at the moment are likely to have a say if the Class of 2017 ultimately prove their detractors wrong.
