    How much more motivated will the players be after tasting success on Sunday? Quite a bit would be my guess.

    It was neither a pantomime or a sideshow- merely a series of games Barnsley FC had to fulfill as part of being a league 1 team. A series a fixtures we were successful in and that led to our first silverware in a long long time.

    To call it and see it as anything else is an insult to the squad of players that showed absolute commitment to win in every round both for the fans and for themselves.

    Just give up. You've made a mistake and you know it. You used the wrong word which is clearly an extremely hurtful insult to the entire club, the players, fans and the town.

    If you're an attention seeking wind-up type, you've had the reaction you wanted, so give up.

    If you genuinely didn't mean to dish out such a horrible insult, just apologise and move on.

    If you simply can't see what you've done wrong, then my mind boggles, along with loads of others.
