    A word of caution about the best midfield comments etc. The 2004/5 season anybody would think we signed the Harlem globe trotters. That season we signed Mcphail and already had Burns, Shuker, Kay etc.

    The strike force was Boulding, Conlon, Chopra and Stallard. Then Nardiello on loan.

    It isn't what happens on paper and we can all pick our squads and matchday 18's. Means nowt unless they apply themselves against Port Vale and beyond. Starting Saturday.

    I think we should make Norwood captain. After what I saw at Wembly, that was captain material. He asks people to perform and leads by example.

    It was a red as he had a Barnsley badge on. No doubt Vinnie Jones did the exact same a week later and nothing was made of it :D

    Cooper had that temper, but look at the pathetic flop from their player and the over reaction from their keeper.
    And a bad mistake from Futch for their third goal.
    And it looked like it was about 50 years ago, looking at the stands/stadium. ;)

    I don't remember that red card at all. Do recall him getting sent off in a 1-1 draw against Vale the season after.
