I'd take anyone of them back instead of Collins

Me too. Don’t think any of the three would be remotely interested though.

Collins in for me but thin ice next season if we start slowly. If he was to leave, I’d have Duff back if the board was confident he wouldn’t bin us off at the first opportunity again….something which is hard to trust now.
Really unpopular opinion and I can see why but I wouldn’t be overly gutted if Lee Johnson came back but that’s just me. Think he has a lot to offer to the game and to the club….but that’s whilst we’re talking about former managers. He wouldn’t be anymore near my first choice.

If Collins were to leave, I would deffo have Duff back. We don’t have anywhere near the type of players that could play the way Ismael had us playing

I don't think Johnson's ego would fit through the door. Absolute fraud of a manager as well.

I wouldn't want Duff back. He failed to get us promoted and was horrendous at Swansea, a real contempt for the fans and hanging his players out to dry.
Val I would like to actually watch now fans are allowed back in the stadium, maybe he could persuade Dike and Mowatt to come back too!
I'd probably feel more like Struber coming back if I'd seen out survival in the flesh but I honestly feel without Covid we'd have been relegated even if Wigan still had the points deducted. His last 2 home games before Covid were so negative, we needed to win and we were struggling to even go for a draw!

For me, he's a complete charlatan as a coach, yet somehow keeps getting clubs to give him contracts, although they seem to be finding him out more quickly these days.

I might, at a push, put him higher on the preference list than Schopp and Asbaghi, but I'd need to think about it.

Mowatt out of contract at EOS would have him back in a heartbeat

Big Val's thrash metal football gets my vote.

I think this is disrespectful to Neil Collins, because he is still our boss (manager or coach, whichever).
If we're being hypothetical though, then I'd be interested in seeing Val return, just to try and prove a few questions right or wrong. There's no way we're going to have a season like that again, but it would still be interesting to find out, maybe.

No ta from me, Steuben done nowt since, Duff dropped us in the sh17 from a very great height Is ale was OK at the time but done nowt since, plus his football wasn’t universally popular at the time and if he came back and wasn’t off to a good start the current grumbles would be straight back.

That would be the case no matter who we bring in as next manager.

I’m just trying to imagine De Gevigney, McCart & Earl playing either Val or Duff football & it doesn’t end well!

Struber makes more sense but I can’t imagine he will want to manage in league one.

To be fair all you have to do as a defender under Big Val is launch it….then push up to the half way line. Mind you pace is probably required…

not sure how good Robbo would be in the old sweeper keeper role.
