Already seems to me we are now getting a situation where those who choose not to wear a mask are going to be accused of not caring about others. Having given the matter some thought I have decided I will not be waering a mask when I'm no longer legally required to do so. In medical settings I will be willing to do so if it seems appropriate.
I don't think it does. There's one nutcase on here who doesn't seem to give a flying gleben about anyone else, but I think most sane people will respect those not wearing masks - and the reverse I would hope. Plenty of people in this thread have stated that they will only be wearing them on public transport or doctors surgeries etc without rebuke (and rightly so). The only reason laddo has been taken to task is because of his boasts of not wearing masks previously and his seeming lack of compassion to other people. If you don't want to wear a mask then crack on, it's up to you.
I wasn't referring to him more what I've been reading on Twitter. I read the other tred it was stupid so I gave it up as a bad job.
Twitter can be a cesspit at times. I've read the reverse also, than folk will be targeted for carrying on wearing them. I guess it's all down to how you treat others, and hopefully both 'camps' will respect each other.
Absolutely I have no axe to grind with anyone who wishes to wear a mask. On my reflection I just feel if If people are cramming together in full capacity pubs, clubs, nightclubs, etc, masks on the bus/train ect are basically irrelevant in terms of having a material impact on the spread of Covid.
