RE: "4.7 Tickets for cup competitions ...... are no higher than for League matches." Come on Trust members give us an answer.
is it wrong to decrease cost of a cup tie too then? ... as BFC have done on numerous occasions? It's called supply & demand. WHen you consider what other clubs have to pay, I think it's a very fair price.
Look at this then know it alls...... Check 22.1 - Tickets</p> </p>http://www.football-league.co.uk/staticFiles/4f/7a/0,,10794~96847,00.pdf
it is supply and demand and the point i was making is but i think that they have got it wrong, but then again when under Rowing haeve they got it right

I'l add my point to the debate As i was at the forefront of it all last week. As many folk know i didn't go to the Burnley game as i went to the Derby game the previous week, and to be honest the Burnley game didn't interest me at all. I think £25 is a fair price, i paid it for the Chelsea game so paying it to see Barnsley take on Manchester United (reserves or no reserves) i'm willing to pay it. It's a one off game and we'll probably see the likes of Owen, Neville, Wellbeck, Macheda, Nani etc - all good players as far as i'm concerned. The club are not stupid though are they? They knew that Barnsley Vs. Burnley in the Carling Cup wasn't going to be a sell out. I expect BFC thought Burnley would bring a second string and not be fussed if they go out as Premiership survival is their main prerogative, so they lowered the prices to £15. Now Burnley brought a decent team to Oakwell with some first team players and some second string players. I like many others missed a cracker, their i've admitted it. They also know that folk will pay £25 to see Manchester United, and with their fans paying £41 in the last round i'd have thought they'd definetely be willing to pay £25! I do see the argument against though with those who went to the Burnley game thinking that at a £10 increase for the next round is a little steap.
RE: I'l add my point to the debate Dont think your post was meant for me but I agree with you £25 to see a top Prem side is a fair price and what I expected to pay. My gripe is with the Customer Charter and how little it means to those who are running our club and those who have input into anything fan related.
It was intended for the whole thread to be honest I thought the ticket price will have been £30 so i'm not going to grumble at £25.
4.11 The Club gives the earliest possible notice of any changes to its ticketing policy and the..... reasons for the changes via the Club programme, official website, and/or via the local media.</p> </p> Chron 2moz? </p>
RE: 4.11 The Club gives the earliest possible notice of any changes to its ticketing policy and the. So should have done that before announcing ticket prices.
Where on the official site have they given notice of a change to its ticketing policy and the reason for the change? There might be an article on there that gives notice of the change and reason for said change but I can't for the life of me find it and they have had the opportunity which means they haven't given the earliest possible notice of the change and the reason for the change. So basically you drew Spartacus' attention to another part of the customer charter that has been broken. Why have one if you aren't going to abide by it?
