    Southend on a Friday night...........

Did anyone on here go to Roots Hall when Brian Joicey scored in a 1-1 draw? That was on a Friday night during the 76/77 season. I think the following season was on a Friday too and we drew 0-0, and Southend were doing well at that time?

Usually 20-30 minutes down and about 10-15 on the way back. Anyway far be it for The Star to get something wrong, but apparently we are only taking 10 coaches today.............
