The Court could review the evidence and determine whether a full trial is needed. I can see your argument mind but what a waste of money.

 

In cases like these where they are guilty beyond any doubt there should be exceptions to the rule. They are only pleading not guilty so they can have their vile message of hate heard on a world wide platform and that has to be wrong. His poor family have already gone through hell and they should not have to be put through the pain all over again just so these cowardly murderers can have their circus freak-show witnessed so publicly. Seeing the images again on the news last night and seeing his last moments before the car swerved and drove into him was hard to watch for me so I can't imagine how painful it is for his family.

You are creating your own argument. Wheredid iI say anything about "fairness". I'm pointing out the people you are hoping will kill them are serving life in prison because they are also (more than likely) murderers, but you seemingly don't think they are as bad

If you were doing life in prison then you would have murdered someone yourself. In the world of an eye for an eye you would be fair game for having your throat slit too. And then the person who did you. And on it goes.

No one cares for these *******. No one. Everyone wants them put in prison for the rest of their lives. What people care about is the system we have in place. Not so we can be fair to these two, but so we always do the right thing and justice is always seen to be done.

I'm not arguing with anybody pal. Just stating my opinion. Kill em and stop wasting tax payers money on em. We all know what they did. I'd hang em in Trafalgar Square

 

I still don't think you see the danger in what you are suggesting. We have a justice system, everyone is put on trial in the same way before a jury of their peers. Yes, these 2 will be found guilty, but the process is there for a reason, and partly so all evidence can be heard to allow the Judge to pass a sentence in accordance to what is within his power and taking into account what he has heard.

 

I really do see the danger and that is why there should only be a change to the process for the most exceptional cases like this one. I just think the rights of his family should override those of two maniacs who simply want the spotlight so they can spew their poison as publicly as possible. In a case like this I'm not sure what a trial is going to achieve besides raking up very painful memories and very graphic details of what happened. As you said they will be found guilty because they are guilty so what exactly is this trial going to achieve? At the end of the trial they will be found guilty and will be sentenced for their crimes. Any details that could determine the length of the sentence. i.e. a full life tariff instead of forty years could be heard be a judge in private. Its not ideal but giving these two this platform is exactly what they want.
