    decent post whitey
    People will not like this but the people who should be given credit for u19's/u18's/u17's are SIMON DAVEY, BRANSON AND MARK BURTON. along with a few others.
    not sure who's idea it was but its nice to see heckingbottom and colgan working with younger end.

    Good point Hemsworth. We should celebrate those illustrious pioneers, particularly as we approach the clubs 5th anniversary!

    Yep, definitely an acquired taste thee! 'thereev' is a sprout cos nobody likes him. Hemsworth is an onion cos he makes everybody cry, , biglil's broccoli - a bit pricey but good for you. Dragon is a leek of course because he lives in Wales, never goes to games and is no stranger to controversy and Whitey's spinach cos he's a bit green but basically a good egg and not afraid to speak his mind. I'm a aubergine because I live in London, have been to art school and know absolutely fck all about football.

    Forgetting whether or not Mark Robins was a good manager or not

    I thought he was a really decent bloke. A nice chap. I didn't think he was lacking personality. He was clam, steady, level headed, but that doesn't suggest to me he had no personality. I liked him.

    Re: MrsHalls...

    You managed to have another go about his personality now, its just you come across, to me, as though you have to prove that Hill is better than Robins and at the moment there aint much to pick from either. Having a go at someone over the way they speak in interviews, if you had just put his name rather than the dullard it wouldn`t have detracted from what are usually good post from you even if I am not totally agreeable with the content.

    Maybe the Holt /Lambert thing makes me think like this and yes I may be wrong and invariably am.

    The Craig Davies thing there was a lot of talk on Chessie boards of a pre contract being signed by us and him, if Davies has told you otherwise then fair dos.

    This pro /anti Hill stance aint doing our club any good and at the last 2 home games I have seen fellow fans on the verge of scrapping over this. I aint anti Hill, I wanted him or Teasdale because they looked the best we could afford at the time, he has done a good job with what is at his disposal but so did Robins and Davey for that matter and I dont see now that they have left the club that there achievements should be wrote off.

    Re: MrsHalls...

    Why is someone a vegetable - root or otherwise - just because they don't agree with what you have said. Let's face it most of what you have said is entirely subjective so people can agree or disagree.

    Are you trying to reclaim your crown as Barnsley's best fan after the season ticket outburst?

    Re: MrsHalls...

    I cant reclaim something that was never mine to start with. I am the best supporter, that I can be. No more than that.
    And yes, my post was subjective, you agree or disagree, that was my intention when posting it.
    And I like veg. Especially with a roast.
    One day, I may start questioning others' character flaws, or standing on this forum. But for now, I like to stick to banter, and debate. Think about it

    Some of us who started supporting em before 2002 have seen em at the bottom of Division Four;
    Some of us who started supporting em before 2002 have seen em lose to non-league teams in the Cup;
    Some of us who started supporting em before 2002 watched 20-odd years of 3rd and 4th Division football before getting so much as a sniff of the second tier;
    Some of us who started supporting em before 2002 would have thought you were barmy if you told em 40 years ago what was going to happen after 1996;
    Some of us who started supporting em before 2002 think the moaning and negativity around the club now is nothing short of pathetic;
    And some of us who started supporting em before 2002 will still be supporting em long after the moaners have fecked off to Meadowhell on a Setdi.
