Something for Mr Mansford to consider re. matchday experience

Everything is way too loud, I don't really need to hear any music at all at Oakwell on a match day. I'd much rather chat about the match, which you can't do because of the inane ***** and twaddle being blasted at you whether you like it or not. They think it creates an atmosphere but it doesn't, if anything it kills it. Wembley was the worst, no chance of getting any chants going from the opposing crowds because of a fcking Killers gig the thought necessary to accompany the build up to a football match. There are some zombies who need an IV feed of screens and audio, but most folk are more than capable of entertaining themselves at half time.

If the new score board is owt like I would much rather have that and the sound of it coming through the sound system than any music tbh sky sports round up for instance would be good

 

The music is too loud, especially at half-time in the stands (east stand).

But I quite like the 'cringeworthy FatBoy Slim song', I think it's the ultimate tune for building some sporting tension right before a game. Certainly if I was a player I'd love it.

 

I want an interactive, online touch screen tablet fitted into the back of the wooden seat in front of me in the West Stand that is linked to a larger screen where I choose what the public does or doesn't see. I would also like a 'punisher' button that delivers electric shocks to the players whom I feel are not performing to their optimum ability. Please, Ben.

 

I'll tell you what I think is cringeworthy though, right before the game we play replays from the BarnsleyPlayer commentators from when we've scored in a previous game from yonks ago. It's almost like 'well we're not sure if we're gonna score today, so lets play some commentary from when we have - just in case'. Must be laughable for away fans.

I wouldn't think AIDS is better than goal music, but I would like to do without both, thanks.

 

Please not Sky Sports round up - would make avoiding Premier league scores in order to watch Match of the Day virtually impossible, it's bad enough with the 2 tw@ts sat behind us who have to read out loud!
