    The blues is the birth of all popular music. I've about 100 blues LPs, some rare, some not. I'm not a purist, as I like pretty much every genre there is, but blues comes into most stuff. There are other scales but largely blues vs major or three intervals down country vs minor. This is not totally technically true, but truer than anything Conway has said in the last 2 years.
