I must be heartless

He missed a golden opportunity when put clean through. Why should I feel sorry for him for that? The best strikers the world has ever seen have all missed similar chances many times. They all got over it and carried on. There's no reason why Odejayi shouldn't.

I feel the same. Gutted for Odejayi, doesn't deserve personal abuse and regardless of the net result, he worked his socks off. There's nothing wrong in saying he's not good enough for this level, he clearly isn't, but I don't blame him for that.

Miss apart, he didn't have a terrible game at all. He actually looked a better player than Jimmy Floyd, Sinclair and Istvan.

If the semi final is remembered for his miss then fair enough, just hope we remember that he did actually get us there and had a blinder.

    Bet he scores V Watford.

He, like very other outfield player did not test their keeper or get a significant shot between the posts and under the crossbar. If he had struck it and the keeper made a wonder save we might not be pilloring him. He played well but couldn't hit the target, like everybody else. Adie Moses commented that both him and Ferenzi were back on their heels in the box when they should have been haring after the ball. We need a goal poacher, but where from I don't know.

It will live with him, but it also will live with the fans for the rest of our lives. I felt sorry for him but he had a go, and he cocked it up. I thought he was playing in flip-flops on a skating ring in the first half. But the whole attack was powder-puff apart from the excellent running of JCR. Get Mostto back, and pair him up front with Macken. Daveys tried everything else why not give that ago. (chinny)

    So the concensus is ......

He is both pants, and good enough to play Terry off the park ?

He hasn't been good enough in the games I have seen this year - but he is FAR from the only one. Stan has been absolutely pants, but cos he had a good season last year, fans are still on his side. KO got stick from the first match of the season. Is he an easier target for "some" reason ? (chinny) . Hope not ! Barnsley (in my 30 years watching) has never been an easy place for a striker to play when the crowd are against you. If KO was walking around taking his wage a la Deon Burton or Mike Sheron, then I could understand the vitriol, but he has NEVER had that attitude whilst I have seen him. I personally hope he stuffs Watford single-handed.

He's a striker and he has scored 1 goal in 34 league games, I think that says more than enough about his performances this season.

He won't play against Watford and the reason he has not been popular is because he is so far out of his depth it is untrue.

I wouldn't say the crowd's against him mate. I think most people are behind him, appreciate his effort and would love him to come good. Let's face it though, he's not going to is he?

I am glad that when I **** things up at work

I dont do it in front of 80K people, all cheering or calling for my blood.
In fact no one give a monkies when I mess things up - which is the only reason I am still in work!

i found that snippet on the sky sports commentary that a psychologist had been working with ko to build his confidence interesting. if scoring the winning goal against chelsea in the quarter finals of the fa cup doesn't give you confidence forget it.
