    Sorry but professional footballers who for the vast majority of their lives have trained to play 90 plus minutes numerous times a week need 'rest days' is laughable.

    Yes I understand the sport science angle but this need loads of rest seems to be something more associated within the English game becoming more apparent over recent years.

    In short footballers are as a rule not but whinging poofs.
