    But if I owned that car - were I to have a brick put through its window or a sharp object dragged down the side to damage the paintwork in the next couple of weeks this site would find itself in court being asked to pay for the damage for encouraging reckless behaviour.

    It's long gone I'm afraid. I had to brake sharply for a dog that shot out in to the road and my front brakes fell off. As new brake callipers were worth more than the car it was never driven again. I've always regretted not running over the dog.

    You can come round and take photos of my latest car if you like. It's an old man's silver Toyota. I think it's worth less than the Escort.
