Why not. 28 years old. A good 4 years left. 15 over 4 years. 4 goal a year. He could get that in 2 years if he gets a bit of luck at international level in the group stages. In 2013 so far and 2012 hes played 5 games and scored 4 goals. the number he needs over a year for the next 4 seasons.

Over-rated and currently in poor attitude in relation to his perception of his importance to Man United. If clubs are genuinely offering anything over £20 million I would be snapping their hand off. He might thrive in a new club, but credit to David Moyes for deflating the over-ego. Worst-case for Man United is that he remains disgruntled, stays at United and undermines morale, which is presumably the mind-game Mourinho is playing right now. Clever, eh!

Or even Man United for example - He is a good player but not world class in my (and Sir Alex or Moyes) opinion. Trouble is I dont think we have any world class strikers eligible for England for at the moment.

Watch that deal get completed within the next seven days. Big clubs always reject the first offer, and United will definitely want to take Mata.

How must Mata feel now though? Double Player of the Year at Chelsea and Mourinho throws him to the dogs?

This isn't new Loko between Juan and Jose.
He's been linked with a few clubs since Jose went back to Stanford Bridge.

Moyes has said he will play second fiddle at United so that's another team he can't get into. Over rated by many but more and more people are starting to realise he is not world class, never has been.

Based on? I'd have loved Moyes to have on his CV, Chelsea, Madrid, Inter etc etc and seen what he had done with those kind of budgets. What do you think Mourinho would have done at Everton all those years with the budget Moyes had? We'll find out how good Moyes is this season.

In your opinion so don't be stating it as fact pup. Jose spends a fortune on players, Moyes hasn't had that luxury yet, that's the difference as far as I can see. Fergie was quite indifferent towards shrek too in the last season.

    Porto?
How big was the budget at that União de Leiria too when he lead them to the highest ever finish.
    Deco, Ferreira Carvalho mendes .
I bet you could have got all them for the price he paid for Yak.

Fellaini, 15/20 million. He beat Real Madrid in that transfer so his wages will be high too.

Deco and Carvalho weren't signed by Mourinho.

Stop talking out of yer arse, Everton is well documented about the size or lack of budget. Bringing one of their highest transfer fees into it barely scrapes an argument. Don't tell me you're now saying Moyes had a wad of cash at Everton..

Porto one of the country's biggest clubs and the most successful, its hardly like taking a mid table team cash strapped team that's never won owt to champions of Europe. A quick research into his time at Uniao de Leiria shows that he took over for the remaining few games of the season when they were already near the top of the Portugese league, the following year he left them in third position half way through the season so he can hardly be credited with laying the foundations, that belongs to the manager before.

according to a interview i listened to with the guy he went to Everton because he knew he would play football and that was important to him at that stage.
Real Madrid Bayern were interested. I don't think he ever wanted to move to Bayern but he could have moved to Real.

Juan Mata is a better player, it should be Man U sending the 10m down with Wayne. Though he'd probably lose it or spend it on prozzies.

Is he 28? Then he's not had a good season since what, 22? Were not 3 of those goals against San Marino? Racks your tally up but you will not play them every season. With the England squad being so poor, he will probably go the next world cup but that will be his last tournament. He'll get 40 goals by the time he's finished, which isn't bad I suppose. He hasn't lived up to his early promise and he's not anyone we can be proud of as an England international. He'll be in China or US by the time he's 30.
