I still don't think he knows his best XI. Foden Kane Saka today, but I think he prefers Sterling. And then there's Grealish and Rashford, potentially Sancho if he gets back to form, and Maddison and Mount as well. We need a settled front 3 who can get used to playing together.
Should be no doubt as to what his top 3 should be, Foden, Kane & Saka. Arguments for Maddison when fit based on his brilliant form, but should be that at current for me. Sterling & Mount have had horrid seasons. Sancho been hit and miss, but he definitely has quality. Thankfully Rashford does seem to be coming back into form too, hopefully it continues for the lad.
I hate Peps pass it till it hurts strategy and he doesn’t change if it’s not working . Tuchel failed in the Prem and I didn’t see owt spectacular and even Val almost outsmarted him . Klopp ? Not for me . I’d be looking at Potter in a few years but give Southgate the Euros 2024 imo .
Tuchel failed in the prem? He won the champions league when he first arrived, and chelsea fans couldn't believe he got sacked. He deserved a lot more time. Have you watched Man City of late, bud? Pep has completely changed to base it around Haaland, and he'd by farrrrr get the best out of our attacking talent. And no Klopp? ! If you're dismissing 2 of the best managers in the world at current, we've no hope mate
we've progressed beyond the quarters twice in the last 56 years, and 'the frogs' are the reigning world champions. I'd suggest your expectations are unrealistic, and you have nowhere near enough respect for the French team.
Give over Marc , your clutching at straws. If you think reaching the quarter finals is a victory I’d whatever sorts your seriously wrong . Even in the mind numbing FA this World Cup is a failure .
I don't actually understand the point your getting at? What do you want us to do then, not compete at all? Only 6 countries have more world cups than us - and that's including ones we weren't even invited to. Whether you like the football or not, we've progressed very well this past 6/7 years.
I struggle to understand what kind of manager doesn't understand the impact a manager could have. We have a great squad - and a better manager than many of his predecessors. But that doesn't equate to him being the best possible manager for this team
Spot on. We did our best. Our best wasn't good enough. I'm gutted because it was Harry Kane. Best centre forward since Jimmy Greaves. I knew he was gunna miss though. Weird. I'm probably going to die without seeing England win a major competition or Barnsley back in the Premier League. It's a game though and the World Cup comes round every four years. Family, friends and love don't. Hasn't John Legend got a beautiful voice. It's a magical time. Merry Christmas.
How can you seriously say we haven't progressed? Can you not remember Iceland 2016? The travesty of 2010 + 2014??
Still no flare player to partner Bellingham and Rice. Grealish, Foden, Saka, Mount, Sterling. All same. Not midfielders but not strikers or wingers. Ward Prowse would have been selected and Madison should have been brought on at half-time tonight. In past. Doesn't matter. This post doesn't matter. Total bear waffle.
