That was doing the rounds a few days ago apparently……..the police could be in for a busy weekend up and down the country by the sound of things
I went into Aldi last night opposite. Due to the heat quite a few were outside. All Male, and not a single child or female in sight. Of course they may have been inside to be fair. But none outside anyway. Weren't causing any bother, and weren't in any way threatening. Just all sat around in small groups with bottles of water/pop
Yes and then the idiots doing it will be crying when their taxes go up to pay for the additional police and to repair damage
Without being argumentative here……in your opinion do you class every person who attend a march/rally as an idiot?
That depends. For me people are idiots if they attend THESE rallies with the basis of protesting against illegal immigrants in this country off of the back of these murders in Southport considering the perpetrator was born and raised Wales. A lot of people have based their words and actions on the belief that he is an illegal immigrant of Muslim belief, and when that has been disproven they've gone ahead with it anyway.
No I don't but the ones who are attending anti asylum seeker ones based on the back of a British prrick being a murderous monster just because they wrongly assumed he was an asylum seeker and now refuse to accept the truth that he wasn't are most definitely idiots.
Randomly, I was on a boat yesterday with a family from Hartlepool. They were thoroughly ashamed of what had happened in their town.
I think the country is just divided and angry in general at the minute. We have had the wool pulled over our eyes for years with doggie politicians, we're the most taxed country in the world with fuel and energy been 2 points the government should have sorted. Even the AA says petrol and diesel should be no where near the price it is. We give billions away in foreign aid and to wars we don't need to be involved in. Then when a boat comes into the u.k we say hi welcome to England come in the hotel paid for by us and have 3 meals a day. ( which other country in the world can I arrive via boat and they feed cloth and shelter me with tax payers money) when people who live here are on their arses with cost of living crisis. Then to top it off the government takes the pensioners winter fuel off the ones who have paid in all their live paid taxes etc. Country's just in a mess at minute.
I'm not sure if you meant it to... But it sounds like you're trying to justify cider drinking yobs turning up in a mourning town to attack a Mosque and throw bricks at police officers. I'm not sure what you're trying to relate your points to?
But why are they having a protest outside a hotel on Manvers, shouldnt they be holding it down london in westminster or at Barnsley town hall?
No not at all not trying to justify that. Like you say the kid who has done it is British and a Christian and the Romanians in harehills were most likely Christian but social media influences tried stirring that up. I'm just saying my point and just think there's alot of frustration with things in England the taking pensioners winter fuel allowance who have paid taxes all their lives but we can afford to house and feed everyone who comes by boat and give billions in foreign aid when our working people are struggling is a joke that's just my opinion. Have a good day.
You have the absolute right to turn up to any country that is a signatory to the UN Convention on Refugees and claim asylum. They have to then provide basic accommodation and subsidence while they assess your claim - all on taxpayers money. Oh, and BTW the level of taxation in the Scandinavian countries is higher than here. Ivory Coast has the highest general level of income tax (60%), Belgium hits 79.5% for the highest individual income tax rate and Bhutan has the highest sales tax (50%). Petrol is expensive here - but not much higher than California and lower than Italy or Switzerland. The UK is not even in the top 10 worldwide for petrol costs.
I'm sure there is lots of ill sentiment around the country. The right wing press have been sowing fear and hate for decades. The tories commonly used hateful language in relation to migrants and asylum seekers. But... Two points... Firstly, If a multi millionaire pays tax all their life, should they be given winter fuel payments from treasury funds that are made up from taxpayers money? Secondly, if people come to this country, to flee from oppression, to better themselves, to be eager to contribute and they are placed in limbo, in a hotel, but they are banned from seeking employment because our laws (introduced by the conservatives) literally prevent them from doing so, and prevent their right to stay from being assessed and processed? Do we blame the migrants?
I know I’ve posted about this before, but when my lad played for Junior Tykes u7s there were twin lads who played with him who had fled here to seek asylum. They had to live on a lot less money a week than people get on normal universal credit and their dad wasn’t allowed to work, get a driving licence or anything to support his family. He was totally dependent on the state. It took over two years for his asylum to be processed and accepted (on appeal) and he immediately got a job, took his driving test and has been working ever since, trying to do the best for his family just like I assume everyone on here does.
On your 1st point my grandma was a cleaner all her life and grandad a postman. They recently passed only this year but wouldn't have been entitled to any allowance as they had some savings and owned their own house so it's not just billionaires who they have took the winter allowance off.
Out of interest, how many meals a day do you think asylum seekers should get? Where do you think they should sleep?
