So you're saying we ARE the highest taxed country in the world and NO other countries fulfill their obligations to fed, house and clothe refugees? That's what you're saying.
The rest of it just comes down to "wi dunt want no foreigners " bs.

Could you explain the balance you're talking about?

There are posts all over X and Facebook listing multiple anti immigrant protests being shared by all the same sources that shared the Southport misinformation and the London protest. Yaxley and co have their dog whistles out .. making sure to say peaceful a lot for their own legal security.

Do you mean the entirely peaceful protest in Rochdale?

The one off domestic triggered event in Harehills?

He's talked about police sharing resources and intelligence to deal with deliberate an planned disruption and threats to civilian safety. Who other than the far right are organising multiple events and protests? Who has had more than one protest turn violent this week? Which groups of protesters were drinking lager and cider while chanting racist nonsense?

Also on the EDL thing. There was several of thatmob wrapped in English and British flags with EDL printed on them. Doesn't matter what their current extremist group calls them self.

Most normal people you speak to have no clue of the start or end of far right groups. I find it interesting how many people were quick to point out exactly how long the EDL hadn't existed for. Almost like they run within those circles.

If you gave someone a pound every minute since 00:01, January the 1st, the year 1AD, £60 every hour, by today there would still be 150 people in the UK richer than them.

It would take someone on minimum wage working a 40 hour week 60,000 years to earn the same.

I’m not he’s a minority with a big mouth. But doesn’t speak for me. Instead of beinging ashamed, we need to stand tall and show what British values actually are.

This. British values are what came the day after the riots. Ordinary folk standing together, regardless of colour, creed or religion to clear up the mess the fckwits had created.

It's a shame more people don't remember Jo Cox's words

“we are far more united and have far more in common than that which divides us”

TBH, I've got better things to do on Sunday than go down to Manvers and clean up after a bunch of drunken yobs who have decided to frighten a group of people who were put there by the government with no choice in the matter...

Personally I think we should throw more money at processing asylum seekers, rather than spending it on hotels. We need to fix the bottle neck not waste time having pointless debates about if they should be here.
Process them, then I dare say many will go and work and contribute to the economy and pay tax.
Often taking on the jobs that struggle to recruit I.e the jobs those already in the country don't want.
They are just people. Some are good and some are bad. Just like a cross section of the British public.

Me too. But if the fckwits smash stuff up it needs to be cleaned up and community coming together to do that sends a positive message about belonging. Let's face it, if the regular folk don't do it it just means that already stretched local authority workers have to do it.

If only there was an alternative, like not getting pssed on cheap cider or lager and smashing someone else's neighborhood up.

Shocking scenes. Loads of copy cat rioting. But don’t worry we have the tool maker’s son in charge of the country now.

I don't know why they set fire to a police station in Sunderland for. It wasn't that long ago the nutters were upset a copper got attacked at Manchester Airport and now they have done an about turn.

Exactly mate. Again I’m disgusted with the police only watching the thugs. Ok I got the reasons from folk on here and see their point but maybe it’s time for police batons to be got out and some skulls smashed.
They did it 40 years ago in the miners strike.
    Why not now.

Looking at the scenes coming out of Sunderland it looks like the majority are teenagers who just want to cause trouble because they probably see it as an opportunity to behave like tw@ts

I think you're giving a lot of racist scum the benefit of the doubt there.
