Southport Incident

Sounds like a lovely person. Committed domestic violence, threw rocks at police and racially abused another patient when in hospital.

Interestingly the guy who took bricks to the head and balls was identified as Brian Spencer. Age 39.

 

I bet his partner has been enjoying watching that video on repeat if it was him.

Can’t understand why more arrests were not made at the time. Loads of offences being made yet police reluctant to lift anyone.
Arrests now being made on video evidence.

 

Because they were focussed on protecting themselves and the public and didn't have the numbers to go on the attack.

I think it makes a lot of sense.

 

200 police officers trying to arrest 200 criminals all in one go is a sure fire way of escalating violence and if it had have happened I’d have fully expected there to be deaths.

 

Makes sense. If they grabbed anyone at the time the whole mob would set on them. They knew they could get them in the coming days.

 

But yet it's 'the foreigners coming here abusing our women'.

I'd be interested in how many of the rioter's views on gender relations are more in line with fundamentalist Islam than UK law.

 

There probably isn't the custody space in the entire North West for 200 criminals in one go. Although it would be funny to see them all dumped in Whitehaven and left to make their own way home.

 

Leave the poor lad alone. He now can't have any more kids that he isn't able to visit...

 

One arrest is 32 year old Jacob Davies. The ‘Muslim man with a knife’ the mob were using as the excuse for everything they did. Except he isn’t a Muslim and was actually on their side.

We are not in a good place and the thugs then know it.

 

Oh dear the illiteracy of this lot posting is worrying. Basic English is not their strong point.

 

We have always policed by consent in this country. It’s always been that the majority of people are brought up to respect the law, even when it’s an ass.
Unfortunately we’re getting to the point where proportions of our society can be incited to turn up with machetes based on a pack of lies spread on social media.

 

Ironic isn’t it that people who are most desperate for others to speak English if they live in this country are usually the worst at it.

 

How about giving em a couple of small boats and dumping em fifty miles at sea off Whitehaven.

 

Or 50 miles off the coast of Somalia to see if they settle in the first country they land ashore in.
