Speaking to a couple of Sunderland fans after the game

I've read thru this thread....

and that is the post that reflects my opinions of him 100%. Pure and simply not good enough for this league im afraid. Most of our attacks break down as soon as he gets the ball. He has no idea. Gets the ball into feet, head down, a few stepovers, WHEN that doesn't work, looks behind him to Hassell/Austin etc, for them to launch a high ball into the box that the keeper usually comes and claims - OR the defender generally will head clear. Nothing comes from the right hand side, because when he does put a cross in its pretty *****.</p>

It may not sound like it from this post but I really do like they guy, and would love him to prove me wrong - but he wont unfortunately.</p>

always goes a trick too far for me..... and smetimes he'll start sprinting right over to corner flag wen he could cum in middle and its wide open. Frustrating player!!!

I wish we still had Shuker- he did give 100% that lad

Add Hassell to that list, and I would agree with your assessment of the team. Although I think McCann is useful, as is Rajczi, K Reid and Devaney. Maybe not good enough to see us progress in this league but will be enough to see us stay up. Look at the other teams around us and they all have similar problems.

 

I take it all back, you guys were right.

Devaney just isn't technically able.
