But, doing it just to prove he can is not the right way to go about it. nt

Yes, I have considered that. I have even considered that it may have been Kay himself. Whoever it was should be dealt with in an appropriate manner.
However, I do know that on at least one occasion Mr Davey has conducted a "debate" with a player, in a public area, which means that it could well be someone who has no real connection with the club and therefore cannot be disciplined. IMHO, just another instance of bad managerial practise.
Maybe you can answer a question for me? Since you purport to have been on the same, or similar coaching courses as our "manager". What exactly do they consist of? Is there any part of them that includes "man management" or is it purely football skills, tactics, formations etc.?

The so called players who tell tales out of school are not very professional are they

and did they give examples as to why they disliked him, what alternative actions (to those they disliked) that they would have seen etc

It is better to be feared than loved - but it is never prudent to be hated.

The same way as any other subject

as to whether or not an individual has an aptitude for it is another matter - just like any other subject.

Its funny that certain individuals think that particular managers at BFC were / are better at it than others when to be perfectly honest they know absolutely **** all about what goes on behind closed doors at Oakwell. At best they have had heard the subjective or even 2nd hand views of the dissenters at worst they are simply making things up to suit their own particular view point.

    The ultimate and only judge

    is success.

    like em or loathe em.

    being popular achieves little.

You would have to ask a specialist that.</p>

I did teach it at HND level but that was about 5 years ago. Forgot most of it as it's no longer relavent to my life.

RE: not all my team like me

It isn't necessary to be liked but it is essential to be respected. Unfortunately for some people, respect doesn't come with a title, it has to be earned.

Yes it does but there is a supplementary question:
How many of those modules do you have to gain a pass mark in to achieve the Pro Licence?

but you will always ge staff who won't play ball and no matter what you do will not get you that

    respect.

at that point, you have a bad egg who could influence others and spoil the rest of the box. Therefore bad eggs are normally shown the bin!
