Hurricane over Wombwell sounds like a post-apocalyptic death metal band :D

Only thing that flies over my flat is Easyjet and Tribute Ale hot air balloons in summer!

About four years ago I heard the sound of a piston engined aircraft over towards the South. I looked over and on the skyline was the unmistakable shape of a PBY flying boat. I pointed and shouted out “Look at that, a Catalina flying boat” and looked around to find myself entirely alone. I’ve never seen one before or since and wasn’t even aware that there were any in this country let alone airworthy ones. Probably flying West to East over North Derbyshire, a fine sight.
