Edit - That Kuqi character is beyond a joke though. Obviously he alone isn't the other hex peoples responsibility, but surely something will have to happen in regards to him?

More or less. Not as bad as what we’ve seen on Twitter etc. wasn’t that big of an audience for the actual stream. The guys running stream blanked the ‘heavy’ questions and focused on ones they could make their company look positive.

 

Not that we'll ever know, but wouldn't be surprised if the whole deal is worth about 5 grand to the club.

 

That's very true, hence why I think they seemed genuine, but we will never know unless explored further with an actual sit down with the trust, or someone else close to the club. I do think Kuqi character will be a big problem though - they'll just defend it by 'free speech'. I don't think he quite understands though, you can say whatever you want - but don't expect businesses and other outlets to allow you near them?

 

Do we know anything about this Kuqi fella outside of his awful tweets? Like what's his name? What's he look like? Where is he from? What's his background in business?

 

I've just spent the last hour reading this mammoth explanation trying to figure all this out. Lots of gaps in my knowledge of some of the terms, but if the following is anything to go by.... It doesn't look good at all

Sorry, can't agree that that is a fair reflection.
They quickly spoke of respect and of their "community", but seemed oblivious to the hurt their comments have caused members of our community. Not an inkling of regret for anything that has been said, just doubled down on context, saying "***" wasn't meant in an offensive way, amongst others.
When Kuqi was in the chat there seemed to be genuine friendliness towards him, particularly from the bloke on the left with the apparent shiner.
But, I'll bow to your greater knowledge on the American psyche, I've probably got it out of context.

 

This sponsorship is seemingly a last minute and rushed deal, one of these tonight just said they were brought in as a replacement because the original sponsorship dropped out.

Whatever we are getting paid from this lot shouldn’t be enough for us for us to surrender our club values of equality and diversity for all. Nothing should ever be put in front of that, no matter what figure.

 

I will say this is probably right, I know Beyonce and a couple of other singers had the word 'spa zz' in their songs, and after backlash theyve had to change it as it's not considered a proper slur over in the US like it in over here. Hopefully it's as innocent as that anyway...
