Didn't even spot this. Nauseating. And if I'm right he's essentially personally sponsoring the club?

Thanks for that Jay. But I never said it was ok?

I was having a conversation about why they chose to sponsor us.

Agree with all that. I was just responding on the ‘why’ part.

All coins are highly volatile though and crypto.com positions itself as a trading platform for all of them. The money being generated is obscene.

Your post to which I replied contained the line

That is the point I addressed and I highlighted how Barnsley fans were being targeted.

This is being achieved by the official BFC Twitter account tagging Hex into their Tweets. Barnsley fans are undeniably and deliberately targeted, aided by the club.

You did. But that happening doesn’t automatically make the reasons for the sponsorship primarily that. That’s potentially just an output after the initial announcement.

You also had a paragraph telling me ‘it isn’t ok’, so I just wanted to be clear I’d never said it was.

Woke up this morning to 23 new Twitter replies. All from hexican fkwits. I imagine everyone replying to the Club tweets will be getting the same. I’m now fkn furious tbh, that we’ve got involved with this.

Same here Marc. It's an absolute joke. I have at least 50 of these stupid Hex accounts muted already on Twitter but still having more reply to me and other fans.

Even seen Hex comments on the Facebook and Instagram posts as well as on the YouTube highlights from yesterday. They are everywhere.

Getting to point where I am tempted to delete my reply to stop the notifications coming in.

This is not how a sponsorship deal should work, fans are seemingly no longer able to interact with their club via social media without being targeted by Hex propaganda or just downright insulted for not liking Hex. It has to stop asap.

Teach the club a lesson. Delete all their social media. Let the hex cultists talk to themselves.

Just muted the word hex on twitter, it's a farce and the club should be ashamed of themselves

It's bad enough with betting bots dropping the odd reply but these are non stop

Never had, never will have twitter, but can't you just block them?

You can, but it's like trying to swat a swarm of mosquitos with an implement that can only hit one at a time. And for every one you get, two more return in their place.

Blimey, sounds like you'll have to block the BFC site.

Give them the money back, put a charity on the front, delete all links, tagging and mentions. It's Big Thing all over again, but we were a proper club back then which got rid asap.

The difference is bigthing weren't actually causing anyone any harm. The website was a good idea and a genuine business. This scam can ruin lives and using bots and shills to try to trick people is immoral in the extreme
