    Murray. Just pips Wiggins and Ennis. Finalist at Wimbledon, Olympic Gold and first British major winner in 76 years.

    That said, every single one of the nominees deserves it this year. What a fantastic year for British sport.

    I suppose they will have to acknowledge Chelsea out at some point, I'm glad they're out of the country! :D

    It has been such a great year for British sport that there are so many to choose from. There has been some real high achievers, Murray, Wiggins, Ennis, Farah, Hoy, McIllroy. But personally I would choose Wiggins, the Tour de France is a hardcore event IMO and for him to win it then get gold was outstanding. I do reckon Murray will get it though.

    2 hours ago i took 11/2 about Jessica Ennis, just had a look to see what price she is now, and she's shortened to 3/1
    wile Wiggins as drifted out to 1/2 from 1/4
