We are all entitled to our opinions... I rarely post on here and I really don't want an argument. But I maintain my view that I hope Jacob Butterfield has a good career when he leaves Barnsley! Good night!

There is a big difference in not wishing a player well (who is leaving), and doing what you did - hoping that player has a life-changing, career-ending injury. Your posts - under your last moniker too - often leave a lot to be desired. Sad really, as there is just no need for it. But crack on.

im sorry if some of my posts arent PC enough for you but this is after all an opinion page, we all have different ones. i couldnt care less how footballers careers pan out after they leave us, why should we unless they are a friend? i want players to regret leaving us not laughing when leaving and going on to be succesful hence the reason i hope he snaps his knee cap.

 

I haven't read the other posts but I agree I hope Butterfield does well in the future .....unless he signs for Leeds or Sheff Weds or Huddersfield......then I hope he's pants

 

so im stupid going to to the majority of the games each season? suppose id be a genius if i didnt go to any of the games and spent the 90 mins on here posting the usual drivel from behind the pc screen?

 

I take the majority of what's posted on this forum with a pinch of salt. It's only a forum, and nowt to get stressed about. And I often berate the abilities of our general manager, our right back, and sometimes I post silly threads for no other reason than to be silly. But I would never wish serious harm on a player purely because they are coming to the end of their contract here, and are listening to other (bigger) clubs who are capable of offering them 4, 5 times the money we can, and clubs who are more ambitious and more likely to fulfill that players own career ambitions. I find that quite pathetic, and I am at a loss as to know what said player has ever done to you for you to wish such ill on the lad?
Oh, and your point about "unless they are a friend"... maybe the player in question has friends who peruse/contribute to this ere forum, and so reading bile such as yours would annoy them...?
But perhaps that is your intention. Either that, or maybe you like the attention that your posts bring. In that case, I'll bid you farewell in terms of discussing this particular subject further.
