He’s actually discussed that line in a few interviews and he said that he did worry over using that term in the song but decided to go with it because he wanted to keep as true as possible (meaning that’s how the top brass spoke at the time) Ps…he sang The River last night in Dublin
Remember the thread I did on here months ago, about The Clearwater revival. I see Bruce invites John Fogarty on, to do one or two of his songs.
IIRC Elvis Costello has some kind of wheel on the stage with all his songs on it. They spin the wheel and play what comes up - and he's got a similar length of productive career...
That’s brilliant….the thing is with the signs at a Springsteen concert…they’re not necessarily a Springsteen song they’re asking for
Well let's put it right ehh Boss lol, let's have this live performance, on this mini Bruce concert on here.
And here's his recent Hungry heart song, which I see is still a very crowd-interactive song btw. I think he's always done this though hasn't he, with this one.
And finally from me, with the mini Bruce live concert thing on here lol... It's gorra be Dancing in the dark hasn't it. And hey Mr Boss, you might even be there on camera lol.
My husband has just sent me photos - the stage is flooded. He’s somehow blagged it into the seats to get under cover.
Oh dear, he’s had to cancel Marseilles, Prague and Milan due to illness. That’s what you get with a rainy night in Sunderland.
Yeah seen that, his Drs as advised him to take at least a 10 day break, he’s first international artist to win the Ivor Novello top prize which he collected the night after the Sunderland concert and he apologised for his voice (you could tell he was struggling with his vocals then)
