    RE: Sad as I am

I download music that isn't available before purchasing - otherwise I would not be able to continue DJing.

Well, we all have our different faves I s'pose. Spybot once destroyed my windows registry - I hate it, but other people reccomend it. I wouldn't argue with that.

I run Spybot and the MS one, the MS one doesn't seem to detect quite as much stuff as the spybot.

I'm just making excuses really. You can play whatever music you like to an empty room.

It WAS an established product that Microsoft purchased.

They purchased it from a company called GIANT: http://www.giantcompany.com/default.htm

It's a shame about the bad experience. It's proved to be a reliable product whilst I have been using it. No problems whatsoever.

    SpywareBlaster provides an additional barrier

    http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

This will load a list of "dodgy" sites to you "restricted sites" list within internet explorer. It does a few other things as well to prevent certain ActiveX threats.

Note that this is a "preventative" tool (rather than means to remove spyware).
