RE: Sad as I am I download music that isn't available before purchasing - otherwise I would not be able to continue DJing.
RE: Had a bad experience of Microsoft. Well, we all have our different faves I s'pose. Spybot once destroyed my windows registry - I hate it, but other people reccomend it. I wouldn't argue with that.
RE: Had a bad experience of Microsoft. I run Spybot and the MS one, the MS one doesn't seem to detect quite as much stuff as the spybot.
RE: Sad as I am </p> What utter tosh !</p> You could play classics from Black Lace and Jive Bunny like all the top DJ's do. Piss poor excuse.</p>
RE: Sad as I am I'm just making excuses really. You can play whatever music you like to an empty room.
It WAS an established product that Microsoft purchased. They purchased it from a company called GIANT: http://www.giantcompany.com/default.htm It's a shame about the bad experience. It's proved to be a reliable product whilst I have been using it. No problems whatsoever.
SpywareBlaster provides an additional barrier http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html This will load a list of "dodgy" sites to you "restricted sites" list within internet explorer. It does a few other things as well to prevent certain ActiveX threats. Note that this is a "preventative" tool (rather than means to remove spyware).
