Re: The fringe starts on Friday so... Kevin Bridges, Lee Evans, Daniel Kitson, Peter Kay, Frankie Boyle, of the present lot. And Lee Mack's not three bad. Bob Monkhouse, Les Dawson and Frankie Howard of the old guard
Re: The fringe starts on Friday so... There's a comedy club not far from where I live so I've been pretty lucky to see quite a few standup comedians the last few years. The three best ones for me have been Reginald D Hunter, Jack Whitehall (who was completely different to how he now comes across on tv) and probably the best but must outrageous, Scot Capurro.
Like : Kevin Bridges, Sean Lock, Lee Mack, Jim Jeffries, Jeff Green Ok : Jimmy Carr, Shappi Whatsername, Ross Noble, Dave Spikey Don't like : Bishop, Evans, McIntyre, Millican, Vegas, Henry
Les Dawson.......... and thereev are the best. Tim Vine, the Chuckle Brothers, Roger de Coursey and Nookie Bear are ok but.......... The rest are rubbish hope this helps

I've only seen him on TV shows and a few clips of his stand up act but I find Omid Djalili very funny.

mark thomas , mark steele , both fantastic... eddie izzard is a genius... failing that christine cole at lundwood wmc..... tits art n'all
Opposite like chubby brown don't get Michael McIntyre find him totally unfunny must be my sense of humour I guess.
Its hard to credit because most people will only associate him with Bullseye, but I once saw Jim Bowen in Blackpool (more than 20 years ago) and he was fantastic. He told a story about a contestant on Bullseye that I can still recall now, and which still makes me laugh.
<<<< This man Also, Greg Davies' - 'Firing Cheeseballs at a dog' dvd is brilliant, especially the stuff about his dad!
