Re: Would you go for something like this?

Reckon so. I'm toying with getting a season ticket next year, the problem I have is that when I go it is often with different people. Usually my dad, sometimes my wife, sometimes a couple of non-BFC friends who i drag along and sometimes on my own.

The trouble is my dad isn't really keen on a season ticket and I don't really want one on my own so the voucher idea would work really well and is a cracking idea. Or even a charge card which you can top up to pay with in lumps of say £50 but gets you in for cheaper. So long as its not some ridiculous process of having to buy/collect tickets an hour before the game (step forward 1912 Club)! ie you exchange your voucher for a ticket on the turnstyle

Boston, Lincs, is lovely in the Fall! Try finding an internet cafe in Maine to follow the text commentary of the Barnsley match though!

i think the main problem with people not attending oakwell is split between cost and alot of people loosing there love for football. I have had my season ticket now for 18 yrs and i must say it gets harder each year for me to get excited about coming. The cost of the modern game at the minute is stupid imo and thats the football clubs fault for paying players the amounts they do. Football is loosing its identity and has lost alot of my mates support who i would never imagine staying away. I think the cost of a game now is also keeping more familys away as a 2+2 family will have to pay on a matchday something around 90 quid minimum? as a family what could familys do for that nowadays? more than a hour and halfs worth of average football.

Can i imagine not going to oakwell on a sat afternoon in a few years time at the minute yes i probably could. Can i afford a season ticket every season? yes so its not cost with me.
