Careful with your assessment Stahlrost; you'll have the Muller is God brigade after you with pitchforks and clubs.

    Hee hee

After all it's only my opinion. I just believe that Steele is the better keeper, and I mean at the moment. Müller may have edged it before his injury though, but hardly any daylight between them when they are both on form.

On form, I'd be happy with either. What I do think though, is that we can't have 2 keepers like that at the club and keep them both happy.

One way to keep them both happy is to play one in goal and one up front. That way, we keep them both happy, we don't need to clog the bench up with keepers and the good thing is we can do it without weakening the forward line.

steel is younger can communicate with defence better,i would keep him in front of muller ,more seasons promised from him, muller only using us as a stepping stone ,but his form taking him nowhere hes not as good as last season as cost us countless points with his indecision

I'm suprised that Davey hasn't played Steele up front already.

    Striker List

    Macken
    Odejayi
    Rigters
    Bogdanovic
    Mifsud
    Cureton
    Hume
    Mostto
    Coulson
    Adam

Not sure either Steele or Müller would be out of place in that list. 10 different strikers in one season - says it all really.

    RE: Striker List

Yeah and how many goals between them? Hume is third top scorer and he's been out for ages :(

    22 I think

Average of 2.2 goals per striker per season (well less 3 games). A statue on the penalty spot would probably have scored 3 just from random rebounds.

I like that one, i think before the injury the "Hoff" might have shaded it, but age is on Lukes side, sell the Hoff i say.

we can't really afford to buy too many players of Hume quality so we have to play the numbers game with strikers
    - it's like pic n' mix:

    most em are cheap crap,
    won't last very long
but sooner or later; one of em will be a good un.

If Muller Spits The Dummy Out Over Being Dropped

then it's possible we may be without a keeper for next season!

Sorry if anyone has already mentioned this, but it wouldn't suprise me. Steele out of contract and Muller could want out over being dropped and still smarting from the 'I won the argument' issue from last season.
