    I don’t believe they want failure. But it’s a negative frame of mind. The sort of content I’d probably share myself were we bottom of the league after 30 games.

    Surprised Cowley is taking this job.
    Thought he would be a lot happier at Lincoln and with less pressure and expectation.

    Seems he will inherit a squad of players who think they are better than what they are. (With the possible exception of Karlan Grant).

    Their forum is similar to ours saying they can't blame him as they haven't got the funds at Lincoln. However bit of a sour taste saying hed turned it down and then less than a week later they're off .
    Be interesting to see how they get on.

    I don’t think he’s had anything to do with it, it’s just been lazy speculation. It’s given people something to celebrate being glum about towards the club though, so that’s a good thing.

    An eight page thread on something that was never going to happen is pretty impressive. I hope they do well there and I don't expect them to struggle like other lower league managers have with the step up. From what I gather from Town fans I know, they only have around a handful of players they like such as Grant and Schindler, so it could be a big rebuild. Lots of deadwood.

    It's a good job for them but I reckon Daniel will have been told the negatives by Winkler IF he was approached..

    My mate is a big town fan he told me at weekend crowlys had turned them down must have been a change of heart. He said same cant see where the 1st win is coming and that they have plenty of deadwood and apart from pilkington and grant he is struggling for players he likes, I think he will be happy with that appointment though.
