Since when has going up and saying hello etc fan girling’ them ‘and you weren’t even there so you don’t know if that’s the case Maybe they’d feel they’ve done something wrong if everyone just didn’t bother talking to them. They might even like meeting the folks of the Town and talking to them.

 

PontyEndReds post indicates they weren’t overly approached anyway. Think somebody’s just trying to invent something that didn’t happen and thinks local people are incapable of realising they want quality family time.

 

I think they would have found it odd and been slightly pissed off if they had been totally ignored .

 

I really doubt that anyone were bothering them. It’s not as if people would be boozed up & acting like idiots at Barnsley Bowl.

I bet it was a quick hello, handshake & a photo at the most.

Can’t see any harm in it. If they don’t want to meet fans they’d live in Sheffield, Wakefield or Leeds like most of the players
