Kevin Nolan would be my choice but except he probably wouldn’t come here

Funnily enough I took Daniel for a curry just after he "separated", to the Curry Mahal in Dodworth. He hated it, he didn't eat any of it, but loved garlic naan. All his food ended up in my freezer, and we ordered 3 more garlic naans, much to the amusement of Ash the owner.

If he comes back we'll go for an Italian.

Not sure how I feel about Stendel possibly returning. Of course, like us all, I thoroughly enjoyed his league 1 campaign and it was sad to see him go but I think it would be a much tougher job this time around. Has the potential to tarnish his status a bit. But it guess also has the potential to make him relevant in England again.

Whoever it is, I will back them though.

A line only ever used by people who have failed a second time. IF you were good enough the first time, you are the second.

Bad move this. Look at the last squad he had. Look at this one. We’ve got very little. I have no faith in the data driven model any more when you can see we’re crying out for experience on the playing side of things. This appointment just smacks of a board under siege trying to get people on side.

The promotion year was magical. Brilliant, unforgettable and we played some exceptional stuff. Then we got promoted and looked tactically naive, defensively shocking and heartless.

i hope it works. I fear it won’t.

People saying they don’t want him back because the squad isn’t as strong as last time is a very strange argument that doesn’t make much sense. Whoever the coach is will have to use the same group of players

Guess if it’s stendel it shows little interest we have in becoming our head coach surely our next head coach appointment shouldn’t be someone we have sacked before. Bananas if so.

That’s why we need to find a coach that can set us up well and make us better as a unit than other teams. For example, when Ismael had us in the championship playoffs.

Whoever it is that is coming in will have a tough job, unless we find a good few gold mines in the free agent market.

To be fair, people as saying look at the squad we have. We don't really know what squad we will start with. It may be that we end up with one that gels from day 1. There will be quite a few departures I'm sure so if the new players brought in fit for instance Stendels style, it may be a fantastic move.

My choice would still be Clough but wouldn't mind if Stendel came back..

Far better than. Williamson, DDuff, Thors hammer and co IMHO

Are we actually getting Stendel back?

This is like when a kid eats all the chocolate in the pantry knowing he'll have stomach ache later and getting a bollocking from his mum but goes and does it anyway.

Who knows, hope its not Williamson or Duff, we appear to have struggled through this process, if it's DS I'll back him, needs time, loved his passion but its very much a different club this time round.
One way or the other let's hope it's concluded sooner rather than later as whoever it is needs to hit the ground running

Looks like the betting is suspended when you try to select him on BetVictor.

At a guess that means it might actually be happening
