All the best to you and your family He will be remembered by all on here. His postings were always readable, intelligent and informative.
Sad to hear of Steve's demise he was one of the greatest fighters I have ever met. Brave, courageous and bloodyminded! My thoughts are with you at this sad time Ali
I don't post much on here but I used to read his diary entries. Very sad to hear that, condolences to your family.
Very sad news I remember your Dads posts very well, an unbelievable person who always remained upbeat. My thoughts are with you and your family
Sincere condolences I met your dad when we hired an executive box at Oakwell against Swindon a couple of seasons back.
A really nice, genuine man and an inspiration to all who met him.
He will be sadly missed.
Mark Redfern

Many condolences to you and your family sorry to hear that. I only met Steve once but through his postings on here and his old diary I think we all felt we had a friend as well as a fellow red. In his own struggle against cancer he gave a lot of support to others; he knew his football and was often the voice of reason and perspective. I think of him with affection and respect and we'll all miss his words of wisdom.
Shocked to hear this - My sincere condolences... Steve's Diary always moved me whenever I read it.

Sad news he always seemed to be very positive whatever life threw at him. Best wishes to you and your family.
Gutted for you Tim. I'll never forget Steve & his jumpers. Top bloke. I hope the fact that he was such a brilliant fella is some consolation. My thoughts are with you.
