Actually whenever Oddjob comes on there's a definite improvement in our competition for the ball. He wins lots of headers, and his distribution out to supporting players isn't that bad at all.

He's now got everybody just waiting for him to balls up. Nobody ever mentions his goal against the Blades, for example. It's just criticism all the way.

It needs to be remembered that nobody else would have scored that goal against Chelsea. Nobody else has the pace to get into the positions he does where he's got so much time to actually think about ballsing things up. Who else from our striking cast of thousands has put him in the shade?

He is not a goalscorer. He more than probably is an option off the bench rather than a starter. But he's not a basket case.

"He more than probably is an option off the bench rather than a starter" thats a fair comment. regarding sheff u goal i was suprised as anyone else when he scored that he took the goal well, the chelsea goal in my opinion any striker could have scored that seeing as the chelsea goalie was flapping all over, but when ever oddjob starts i know full well he'll never score n like i said before its like playing with ten men at times with him

    not all that often but.............

it's hardly his fault if , as soon as he comes on , we start lumping it-that was my original premise

    When he came on

in his first game (already lost by then 4-1 Coventry), his pace was cutting Coventry to bits, I was most impressed.

RE: Seems like I'm pretty much on my own with this one !!! nt

You can sing his name until you are blue in the face - won't change the fact that he is devoid of the basic skills of a footballer
