    Can't have been the same game but we once played Utd in a cup game at oakwell and the highlights were on MOTD, not sure who the players were but they were kicking lumps out of each other in a bit of a tangle and the commentary went something like "amazing, they're kicking and they're pushing and the ball is quite irrelevant"

    Remember it well. Was at the match, umpteenth replay with them in the cup which we sadly lost. They had Deane and Agana up front.

    Commentary I think was Barry Davies on the Sportsnight coverage that night.

    Went to the first game at Stoke there were that many Barnsley fans that went it was 3 - 1 to Barnsley by the time I got in.

    I was 15-16 at the time. Looking after mi 12 year old brother. In the end pen. Scary as fook. Was getting very 'Hillsboro esque'. I was trying to protect him from the crush. Then they opened a side pen. So relieved to be able to go into that!

    Coops had a great dislike it would seem for Glover.
    I remember him kicking Glover a full 3 feet in the air in front of the west stand.
    Coops was down the tunnel before the ref found his red card!

    Amazing the things you remember.

    One of my favourite players of all time. RIP Coops :(
