Interestingly that will mean all 3 relegated teams together with the 3 play off teams have new managers for the new season Don't know what it means but I'm off to iron my anorak
The Swansea job might be an opportunity for Chris Wilder , it will be interesting to see where Wilder ends up as he is a top manager at our level & out of work.
I reckon Wilder will be biding his time for a sleeping giant club, probably Sunderland when LJ inevitably gets sacked.
Woodman being a massive loss to them. Great keeper. His Dad is a decent bloke as well - just left the Arsenal set up.
I can definitely see this happening. The squeaky dwarf won't last until November, and it would give Wilder enough time to sort them out, and take them up.
Even if he didn’t take them up next season he would be given plenty of time as a long term project to eventually reach the premier league, he’ll want those assurances.
John Eustace has just turned them down. And Matt Grimes is set to join Fulham for an undisclosed fee next week.
