    I can imagine how angry and negative some fans are now. How could St Mirren board be so incompetent to let their young talent leave for so little money. Surely they should have tied him down to a longer contract by now. In fact why didn't they just quadruple his salary. Incompetent, No ambition for that board at St Mirren and they should resign.

    I think my comment regarding the standard of Scottish football has touched a nerve on their forum.

    They accuse us (or me?) of ignorance of Scottish football but then say we can only survive in the championship by going in debt, relying on tv money and never bringing any players through. Obviously never heard of John Stones, Mason Holgate, James Bree or Alfie Mawson.
