Me neither. he clearly wasn't fit at the start of the season, did OK in a couple of games & was promptly loaned out. He looks a similar player to Potts in a way. I couldn't see us recovering our sizeable investment on him at this stage, so definitely worth giving him a chance.

I'd love to see Mallan come good, but I don't think he has the application.

Clearly we need to shed a few players to bring in a few, as you say will depend on the offers.

 

He was fit all season & was only selected 8 times, which says something about how he was viewed by Hecky & Morais. I'd like him to come good & prove me wrong. Mowatt seems to be taking a Dale Jennings / Chris Lumsden trajectory. Maybe he can turn it round with the right manager. Maybe Oxford will put in a bid for him.
