RE: 'Alright area'?? Stoke is a **** hole, believe me nt

Best mate goes to uni in Keele which is next door and says it's alright. My mate from Newcastle Under Lyme is always out in Stoke trying to sow his seed.

Die-hard used to be a term I used until I woke-up. I used to go to every game - but then again I was a young, single student, uni chap, bloke and it was easy to just get up and go.

With a relationship and a 4 year old I can't get everywhere. Stoke though I will be, but nice to see the young 'un on an evening and midweek games don't allow that.

    Price never been the issue

RE: What's the view from the press box like at The Britannia?

Actually, the view from the press boxlast season wasexcellent. I don't suppose there will be any change this season. There are also pie and peas, sandwiches, soup and refreshments provided.

I for one can't wait to go back.

Drop me a PM. I'm coming that way so if you want a lift there and back then let me know.

The return journey may be delayed for a few minutes due to post match interviews but there's always the pub next door!

I've nothing against Northern Soul per sea, it's just in the early 70s at school you were either a soul boy or into heavy metal/prog rock. I just happened to be on of the later... no i didn't have an afgan coat !!!!

About 10 years ago i thought I was being biased against soul so I went to a soul night at the Catholic club.... it was every bit as bad as i rememberd :D

wouldn't do for us all to be the same... as my old grand dad used to say:)

How can anybody not want to move and groove at these?

I also love AC/DC, and all kinds of Metal, you can like both. I love all music, well maybe not Arctic Monkeys and stuff like that , but each to their own.
