Stuck record North Yorks Shouldn't be relying on other teams to win. Only themselves to blame for not gaining enough points to be rightly in the play offs. Time to drop iot North Yorks it's becoming a a stuck record. Also lets not forget Leicester lost 4-1 at home to Wolves
Shambolic Fact.
It's ok talking even 4 or 5, but this was 7 - 0 going down on our all time record. We are not that bad and that was surelyan inexcusable result.
Apart from making us look bad, it's an unnecessary result that will stick with us for years, andthe type of stuff that might evendeter a few undecideds from pledging their season ticket support next time. We could and should have done better, even if we had lost.

RE: Shambolic Don Goodman was doing his best to be sympathetic to us - a losing battle. It was cringeworthy.
Completely agree with the Stoke fan and many other fans have branded us a disgrace. What probably upset them is that we never had a go. Someone called Talksport yesterday morning and was talking about us with comments like that. Stoke fans seem to be rather mad at us and understandably so. We showed in front of a national, and maybe international audience no pride at all and the performance was nothing short of a disgrace. Fine the lot of them and the muppet Davey. I work with fans from many different clubs and their view is the same. Apart from West Brom fans who are calling us the Woolpack football team. Shows the lack of ambition when people are just happy that we stayed up and are not bothered by the result.
Everyone on here was cacking it about Leeds playing a Derby team with nothing to play for when it looked like it'd go down to the last game.
Sunday was an absolute disgrace, and to claim that any match 'doesn't matter' shows an ignorance beyond measure.

I think the real issue here is that Joke Stoke took 1 point from a possible 6 against us and were being mugged in their own back yard by us on national TV. As for ambition Bill Shankley always said his main priority was to gain enough points to avoid relegation, which we did, although leaving it to the penultimate game is not a great idea. I always thought consolidation was our target this year and realistically it will be no higher than mid table next year, however we must improve the squad. Realistically we all said we would take 4th from bottom this season, we beat that by one place, lest we forget we finished 5th in the Alehouse league last year and got promoted on pens. As for Stoke fans see ya next season (cryin)
were you complaining when........................ we played Crewe on the last day of the playoff season-they needed to win to stay up and we played worse than we did on Sunday-everyone desperate not to pick up an injury-and it worked -we tonked Brum next game

RE: were you complaining when........................ yes. And when we went to Portsmouth and allowed them to do us 3-0 and sent Huddersfield down.
Shameful.

I can’t believe people are actually defending against the fact we where a disgrace. There is no comeback to it at all. I’m all for giving West Brom credit but did we not beat the team who was top of the table on Sunday morning exactly a month ago?
Another thing Yes we were bloody awful but the Stoke argument doesn't add up: 1) Stoke didn't even beat QPR so they wouldn't have gone above West Brom anyway (unless we won about 5-0). 2) Preston won and finished above Stoke so again, they couldn't have got in the play-offs 3) Leicester and Southen got battered as well, in fact, noone in the bottom 6 got any points 4) Stoke couldn't beat us this season. If they had, they wouldn't have been relying on other results 5) Who gives a **** about a tin pot club like Stoke anyway?
RE: Stuck record North Yorks think youre in a minority slawit youve got a problem with me fair enough like I say its a debate on a not somebody and its not up to somebody from bloody Slaithwaite what gets put on it.
RE: Stuck record North Yorks if that didnt make sense its because Im so pissed off with his constant sniping
RE: Embarrassed I was embarrassed by the defeat at W.B.A. Ok we were staying up but that was no way to end the season!
I couldn't give a toss what a Stoke Shitty fan thinks! If he wants to moan, then maybe he should consider his own team's appalling performance when we beat them 1-0 at their ground - they looked chuffin' terrible!
RE: I was complaining it,s not as bad as putting out a reserve side though like liverpool did against fulham, now that is ridiculous.
