It was funny when the commentators mentioned that he must have got his watch from del boy to get 5 extra minutes!!!!

RE: Stoke were a decent side but their tactics were strange.

im not taking anything away from the barnsley performance last night but i think stoke would have turned you over if we had ricardo fuller available, we were one hungry striker away from winning comfortably.
people on here saying a stoke player wouldnt get into the barnsley team, thats a joke. i thought stoke dominated everywhere except in the barnsley penalty area... our lone striker, sidibe, is a target man and a flick on player at best, we only score from corners and free-kicks without fuller.

i dont think barnsley will go down this season, ive seen worse teams... well... less ambitious teams. most teams that are struggling come down and rarely get into our half, at least barnsley had a go... admittidely it didnt lead to much but they got the win. luton should take note, i think newell is happy to draw every game 0-0.

RE: Don't argue with Johnny, he knows best!

No , only just quoting what I remembered the article saying. </p>

Even if it ks 85K a month I still wouldn't pay that sort of money to get him to Oakwell.

Saw a similar report, it's monthly and it's Aston Villa thats paying it, not Stoke City.

Dunno mate, Fuller is a quality player and no doubt, but.....

....I could agree with you if you had created some chances which you missed. However, the only decent effort on target you had was cleared off the line by McCann, which was from a set piece. From open play you created virtually nothing. Am not being harsh because I thought that you looked like a decent side, some of your passing in the midfield was really nice to watch, especially in the first half. You just lacked the final ball, but we did make it hard for you. Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season.

Thought our boys defended like trojans. Stoke just ran out of ideas how to break us down. They were relying on getting something from their set pieces but they came up against a team that just would not let it happen. Most impressive defensive display I have seen in a long time. We created only a couple of chances and scored one of them. And what a finish it was. Ferenczi looks quality when it comes to finishing.

And it is 86k a month, with Villa picking up most of the tab.
